ScSP 2026 Meeting: Periodontal Health in Children and Adolescents - Present and Future

E-Poster Presentations
Participants are invited to submit abstracts to the ScSP 2026 Conference within the scope of all areas related to periodontology.
Writing guidelines:
Max. 250 words (not including title, authors, and affiliations). Use Time New Roman font and single linespacing. Write the title in CAPITAL letters and author names in bold (e.g. Könönen E, Klinge B). Affiliations include the institute, city, and country (e.g. University of Turku, Turku, Finland, Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden). The abstract text includes the following format: Objective, Methods, Results, Conclusion.
Abstract submission deadline: 12th of June
Young Researcher Award Competition
The Award Committee will select the best four abstracts among the submitted poster abstracts to compete in the award competition. The presenters of these four research projects will present their studies in the competition as oral presentations (10 minutes oral presentation, 5 minutes questioning). The winner will receive an award of 1000 € with a certificate.
Note! To apply for the Young Researcher Award competition, a cover letter should be sent together with the abstract. Letter should indicate the willingness to apply for the competition. If the abstract is withdrawn or in the case of no-show, the travel grant will NOT be disbursed. Please remember that only ScSP´s young members (i.e., graduate students, PhD students, residents who are at specialist training, and/or post-docs within 3 years of their PhD defence date) can apply to the Young Researcher Award Competition.
Travel grants
Scandinavian Society of Periodontology offers 4 travel grants (250 € / each) for the coming ScSP 2026 meeting. These grants will be given to 4 abstract presenters selected for participation in the Young Researcher Award Competition.
Only ScSP´s young members (i.e., graduate students, PhD students, residents who are at specialist training, and/or post-docs within 3 years of their PhD defence date) can apply for this travel grant.
