Any Scandinavian dentist or scientist who has a special interest in clinical, educational or research aspects of periodontology is eligible as an ordinary member. Non-Scandinavian dentists or scientists working in Scandinavia are eligible by the same criteria. Non-Scandinavians working outside Scandinavia may be accepted at the discretion of the Board, if they have received part of their training in Scandinavia.
Following the same criteria, dental hygienists may apply for an affiliated membership. An affiliated membership does not include the right to vote in General Assembly nor serving as a Board member.
Membership includes an annual subscription to the journal Periodontology 2000. All members register to the ScSP congresses with discounted fees.

By filling the membership form and clicking the "send" button, applicant agrees that the information supplied will be visible only to ScSP board, with the exception of applicant's name and country, which will be shared with other members as well. ScSP confirms that the information supplied by the members will only be used 1) to update members on the society's activities (congresses, symposia, seminars, etc.), and 2) to send the journal Periodontology 2000 to members in collaboration with the publisher, Wiley.
